AFFORDABLE HOUSING

A place to live shouldn't come at the cost of everything else.

Kissimmee is growing, but too many families are being left behind. Rents are rising, long-time residents are being priced out, and homeownership feels out of reach for the people who built this city. We need to take action now to ensure Kissimmee remains a place where working families, seniors, and young people can afford to stay and build their future.

WHAT WE CAN BUILD TOGETHER

Affordable Housing That Meets Real Needs
I will advocate for housing solutions that reflect the actual income levels of Kissimmee residents. That includes working with developers to ensure new developments include affordable and workforce housing—not just luxury apartments.

Protection for Longtime Residents
We can’t keep pushing families out of neighborhoods they’ve lived in for decades. I’ll support tenant protections, work to stabilize rent increases, and champion programs that help seniors and long-term residents stay in their homes with dignity.

Pathways to Homeownership
Homeownership is a critical step toward generational wealth. I’ll work to expand access to down payment assistance, first-time homebuyer support, and education programs—especially for those who’ve historically been left out of the process.

Smarter Development, Not Just More of It
More housing isn’t the answer if it doesn’t reflect community needs. I’ll advocate for balanced growth that includes mixed-income housing, protects green space, and strengthens infrastructure so families aren’t priced out or left behind.

THIS IS HOW WE BUILD A CITY THAT WORKS FOR EVERYONE

As your commissioner, I’ll vote with intention—ensuring public funds and development decisions prioritize real affordability.

Because if Kissimmee is going to keep growing, it must grow in a way that includes all of us.
