Jeffers to Face Incumbent Commissioner Janette Martinez

KISSIMMEE, Fla. — August 19, 2026 — Tiffany Jeffers has advanced to the general election for Kissimmee City Commission Seat 4, where she will face incumbent Commissioner Janette Martinez.

Jeffers’ advancement marks the next phase of a grassroots campaign centered on listening to residents and addressing issues affecting Kissimmee families, neighborhoods, youth, and small businesses.

“I am incredibly grateful to every resident who voted, volunteered, shared our message, and believed in this campaign,” said Jeffers. “Advancing to the general election is not just about me—it is about the people of Kissimmee who want their voices heard and their concerns represented at City Hall. Our work continues.”

Jeffers acknowledged that some underestimated her campaign throughout the race.

“I was underestimated. Some said it couldn’t be done, but my God and our supporters proved otherwise,” Jeffers said. “The people believed in this campaign, showed up, and made their voices heard. Now we’re headed to the general election”

Throughout the campaign, Jeffers has emphasized responsible growth, affordable housing, infrastructure, support for local businesses, investment in youth, and ensuring that opportunities created by Kissimmee’s continued growth reach residents throughout the community.

With the race now moving into the general election, Jeffers said her campaign will continue to meet voters where they are, listen to their concerns, and present a vision for the future of Kissimmee.
